As the skin starts to rehydrate and get the nutrients it needs, it will perform more effectively and will start eliminating toxins that were trapped in the skin if present. This is a very temporary state and should pass quickly. You may wish to ease up a little on product usage, use less of the product, and if using twice a day, cut to once a day for example or exfoliate less often, etc and make sure you drink more water to help the process.
