Discover the Ayurvedic Secret - How Internal Health and 100% Natural Ayurvedic Skin Care Reflects on Your Skin

Updated: Oct 4

Effective skincare is not just about applying products; it’s about choosing the right products and adopting holistic practices that support overall skin health. Achieving radiant skin goes beyond surface treatments; it requires nurturing our skin with balanced diets, herbal support, proper hydration, and stress management. By embracing holistic practices and using 100% natural skincare products based on Ayurvedic principles, we can attain beautiful, healthy, and radiant skin naturally, with the help of natural skincare solutions.

How Internal Health and 100 % Natural Skincare Reflects on Your Skin

When we think about skin health, we often focus on external factors such as skincare routines and environmental influences. However, true skin health is deeply interconnected with the health of our internal organs.

Ayurveda, a holistic healing system originating in India over 5000 years ago, emphasizes the profound connection between our skin and the well-being of our internal organs and the use of 100% natural skincare products.

The Skin as a Reflection of Care

Our skin is not just a barrier; it’s a reflection of how well we take care of it. Glowing, clear skin signifies good skincare practices and a commitment to health and well-being. Here’s why natural skincare is crucial for maintaining the health and appearance of our skin:

  1. Detoxification: Our skin plays a key role in detoxifying the body. Using Ayurvedic skincare products that are free from harmful chemicals ensures that our skin can breathe and function optimally. Ingredients like Saffron and Turmeric are known for their detoxifying properties, helping to clear impurities and promote a healthy complexion with natural skincare.

  2. Hydration: Keeping the skin hydrated is essential for maintaining its elasticity and suppleness. Ayurvedic skin care emphasises hydration through natural oils and emollients like Timeless Kumkumadi Face Oil and Gheesutrā Face Emulsion Moisturiser, which provide deep nourishment without the need for chemical additives. These natural skincare products ensure your skin receives the best care.

  3. Nutrient Absorption: Just as our body needs nutrients to stay healthy, so does our skin. 100% natural skincare products enriched with Ayurvedic herbs deliver essential vitamins, fatty acids, and minerals directly to the skin, supporting its repair and regeneration processes.

  4. Protection and Healing: The skin is exposed to various environmental stressors daily. Ayurvedic skincare products offer protection against these elements while also promoting healing. For instance, Saffron and Manjishta (Indian Madder) are known for their soothing and healing properties, making them ideal for maintaining healthy skin through natural skincare.

The Skin as a Mirror of Internal Health

Glowing, clear skin is not just a sign of good natural skincare practices but also an indication of a well-balanced internal environment. Various internal organs play crucial roles in maintaining the health and appearance of our skin:

Liver: The liver is essential for detoxifying the body. When it functions optimally, toxins are efficiently processed and eliminated, leading to clear and healthy skin. However, if the liver is overburdened, these toxins can manifest as skin issues like acne, rashes, and dullness.

Kidneys: The kidneys help maintain the balance of fluids and electrolytes in the body. Proper hydration and electrolyte balance are vital for plump, hydrated skin. Dehydration can lead to dry, flaky, and irritated skin.

Digestive System: A healthy digestive system ensures that nutrients from our food are absorbed effectively. These nutrients are necessary for skin repair and regeneration. Poor digestion can lead to nutrient deficiencies, which can, in turn, cause various skin problems.

Lungs: The lungs are responsible for providing oxygen to the body. Oxygenated blood nourishes the skin, giving it a healthy glow. Poor lung health can lead to a lack of oxygenation, resulting in a dull complexion.

Ayurvedic Approach to Skincare

Ayurveda advocates for a holistic approach to skincare, emphasizing the balance of mind, body, and spirit. Here are some Ayurvedic practices that enhance skincare routines and promote healthy skin:

Diet: A balanced diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats is fundamental. Ayurveda suggests including foods that nourish the skin from within, such as almonds, sesame seeds, and ghee.

Ayurvedic Herbal Supplements: Ayurvedic herbs like Triphala, Neem, and Ashwagandha support skin health by enhancing detoxification, improving digestion, and reducing inflammation.

Hydration: Drinking plenty of water and herbal teas keeps the skin hydrated from the inside out. Ayurveda recommends sipping warm water throughout the day to support digestion and hydration.

Mindfulness and Stress Management: Practices like yoga, mindfulness and pranayama (breathing exercises) reduce stress, which can have a positive impact on skin health. Stress can lead to hormonal imbalances that negatively affect the skin.

Topical Treatments: Using 100% natural skincare products with ingredients like Timeless Kumkumadi Face Oil and Gheesutrā Face Emulsion Moisturiser, which are based on Ayurvedic formulations, nourish the skin externally while supporting internal skin health. These products provide chemical free, natural skincare solutions, ensuring that your skin is treated with no chemicals, only pure and natural ingredients. A survey of 100 customers in India, 97% observed a noticeable improvement in their skin’s radiance within just 21 days of using Timeless Kumkumadi Oil.

Interesting points! Thanks for sharing.

Skin is the largest organ in the body and is subjected to a wide variety of stress. For example in the region below the knees the skin is subjected to deeper cold conditions than the skin near the chest in winters. So not only it’s subjected to different stress factors as pointed out here, but it’s a large piece of thermoregulator as well. It has amazing adaptive power and hence ruled by Mercury in Vedic astrology (since Mercury can adapt very fast)

And so best thing for skin is anything herbal (Mercury connect) and that which you can take consume inside (like turmeric, saffron etc) is best applied outside.

Like you said the outer skin…
